При выдувке жидкой массы стекла в деревянную форму, дерево горит, тем самым запечатлевая мимолетную свою структуру, в сей момент, в стекле. Идея заключается также в наделении материала определенной свободой, в итоге, выражающейся в органичности и неповторимости формы, как у природной флоры.

Hand-crafted in Finland.

The wooden mould changes continuously during the glass blowing process. A sequence number is assigned to each piece, and due to the design and the technique, each object is one of a kind, and its shape, texture, dimensions, and weight differ, as if it would be grown from the earth.

Material: lead-free crystal glass. Mould making, hot work, cold work: by the artist herself. Hot work, mouth blowing into a wooden mould: by Finnish glass masters in Nuutajärvi, the oldest glass blowing village in the Finnish forest.
